Partnership with TEAM Ventures

Sustainability Solutions partnered with TEAM Ventures to enable its team to integrate sustainability into their corporate strategies. Through this collaboration, we developed a robust Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy that aligns with international best practices and enhances sustainable investment approaches.

Our engagement focused on designing a comprehensive ESG Policy and Governance Framework, ensuring that TEAM Ventures could systematically incorporate ESG principles into its investment decisions. Additionally, we helped shape an impact matrix, enabling the team to track and measure social and environmental contributions across its portfolio companies. These efforts strengthened the fund’s positioning in impact investing, enhancing credibility among investors and stakeholders.

A key part of this collaboration involved integrating ESG strategies into Private Placement Memorandums (PPMs) and Pitch Decks, ensuring that sustainability commitments were effectively communicated to potential investors. This helped TEAM Ventures attract funding from Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) and other impact-driven investors.

Beyond policy development, we worked closely with TEAM Ventures to craft a compelling impact stories, highlighting the social and environmental value generated by its portfolio companies. Through impact storytelling, we showcased how investments drive positive change whether through job creation, community development, or environmental sustainability.

To ensure seamless ESG integration, Sustainability Solutions conducted a customized ESG Strategy Workshop for its employees in july 2024. We thoroughly enjoyed discussing opportunities to build ESG policies, develop an impact matrix, and explore strategic opportunities in impact investing. This interactive session empowered the team with the necessary knowledge and tools to embed ESG principles into their corporate strategies and investment framework. Our collaborative approach not only strengthened fund credibility but also reinforced sustainability as a core element of corporate strategy in TEAM Ventures.
